Andrew Bruce received his MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art, London in 2013. Prior to this, he studied photography at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, where he received his BA in 2010. Recent solo exhibitions include Cold Air Rising, Galleri Box, Gothenberg, Sweden (2013), while group exhibitions include The Open West (forthcoming), Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum, Cheltenham (May 2014), Young Masters, Sphinx Fine Art, London and SHOW RCA, Royal College of Art, London (both 2013), among exhibitions in the UK, Sweden, India, Malaysia and France. Bruce was nominated for the prestigious Prix Pictet Award (2013), and was the recipient of the 2011 and 2012 RCA Bursary, among others. Bruce lectures extensively on the subject of photography, with talks and contributions including the 10th edition of Langford’s Basic Photography, by Focal Press, and talks at the University of West England, Central Saint Martin’s. He is also a visiting lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham, and sessional lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University.
